| 1 deposit for whole custom lamb | 1 reservation for Dec 5 processing date = $200.00 + $0.00 Assembly |
**PROCESSING DATE: December 5th, 2025**
Would you like to fill your freezer with your favorite cuts of our pasture-raised lamb? We have a limited number of whole lambs for sale. Instead of purchasing your lamb from us by the cut, this option allows you to purchase a whole lamb and decide how you want our processor to cut it up for you. You will get all the meat back from your lamb, cut exactly how you'd like. It will be wrapped in the package sizes you specified and will be frozen.
Price is $6 per pound plus you pay the processors fee. The lamb weight varies, but we expect them to be about 50 pounds. The processing fee also varies, depending on what you ask them to do, but it is usually between $125 to $150 per lamb. So on average, the total cost to you will be around $450 ($300 to purchase your lamb from us, plus $150 to have it processed).
Please note: The lamb weight is based on the hanging weight. Hanging weight is the weight after the lamb is butchered and the skin and guts have been removed, but before it has been cut up. The final amount of meat you get back will be less than the hanging weight - for lamb, the amount of meat you take home is usually about 75% of the hanging weight, but varies depending on how you have them cut it up. So for a 50 pound lamb, you will probably take home on about 37 pounds of meat. This means the average price per pound is about $12.
The lamb will be processed at Stoney Point Farm Market, the USDA-inspected processor we use for all of our meat. It is located in Littlestown, PA. Once your lamb is ready, you can pick it up directly from them or we can bring it to our freezers, and you can then pick it up at our farm store or we can deliver it to you on one of our normal delivery dates
To reserve your lamb, simply pay a deposit of $200. The remaining amount will be billed to you once we know your lamb's exact weight. (Disregard the delivery/pick-up options when you place this order. You can select any of them - it does not matter. We will contact you later to figure out when and how you want to take delivery of your lamb.)
