Our persimmon soaps are made with the same soothing, all-natural ingredients as our other body soaps, but with the addition of kakishibu. Kakishibu is a powder made in Japan from crushed and fermented persimmon. It has a very high tannin content, and in Japan is used to help neutralize odors. These soaps contain our tallow and lard, plus babassu oil, sweet almond oil and castor oil. Available as unscented persimmon soap, persimmon and green tea, persimmon and matcha, and persimmon scented with yuzu (a Japanese citrus fruit).
